Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains how we repair, replace or warranty any products you have purchased from us. At the time of purchase, you agree to the terms below.
1. Warranty Discretion

We reserve the right to evaluate every warranty request at our own descretion.

We reserve the right to deny warranty claims due to misuse, general wear, or expected lifespan.
2. Product Misuse
Misuse of our products can be described as the following:

Using ANY product outside of its expected use case.

Modifying our products outside of what is expected and described in the instructions.

Applying unexpected voltages or signals to ignition products.
3. General Wear
General Wear of our products can be described as the following:

Sun damage, damage from the elements, rust, or corrosion from the outdoors.

Exceeding cycle life of materials on our products, such a potentiometers, connectors or wires.

Warping of 3D printed products due to heat or exposure.
4. Expected Lifespan
The expected lifespan of each of our products differs depending on the type, material and processes we use for their construction. We reserve the right to set the lifespan of each product on a case-by-case basis.

Electronics come with a 1 year warranty on all general wear items and a lifetime warranty on the PCB and all other components.

3D printed products come with a 30 day warranty from time of arrival.

Any other products we do not produce are covered by their manufactuer warranty or by our own 30 day warranty. These products must be unused to eligible for warranty claims.
5. Warranty Repair
When a product is returned for warranty, we will first attempt to repair and test it. This will involve replacing components, wires, connectors and any other failed part. The product will be returned as is, with a 1 year warranty on the repairs. We reserve the right to charge for replacement parts, service time, return shipping, or any other items used during the repair. We will attempt to maintain a cost less than a replacement unit, and will provide the expected cost before performing the repair.
6. Warranty Replacement
In the cases where a product is deemed defective and cannot be repaired, we will replace the product with either an identical or similar product. In the case that we cannot replace a product, we can provide a partial to full refund depending on the item.
7. Updates
We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
